20 Year Anniversary
May 18Today marks 20 years since Andrews Race Cars opened the doors full time. We originally started in 1989 as a design only organisation due to having CAD facilities (a luxury in those days) which greatly simplified plotting and checking suspensions. After building 5 cars part time over the next few years, the decision was made to go full time in 1994. We started out sharing a factory and operating out of an area of 60 sq metres. Today we utilise 3 small factories - total 400 sq metres and a large yard of nearly 600 sq metres.
Over the years we have diversified from a race car fabrication business to one of supply only now. We are now one of the leading tube suppliers to the race car manufacture and other industries, having over 160 sizes of tube in stock. We also continue to manufacture suspension arms for the Aussie Racing Cars series, and supply kit components, rod ends etc. to other forms of racing.
