Willies Makes Successful Return.

Oct 23

After a year long rebuild, Stephen willies recently made a successful return to racing. Loosing his complete engine and damaging the beautiful Torino, put a deep hole in Stephens budget, but with help from family and friends he has returned bigger and better. The new engine combo displaces less cubes, but with a four bolt main block, new crank rods and pistons, roller cam and better cylinder heads, the engine gained an extra 100hp. With a change of rear end ratio, the 6800 rpm limit is still achieved, the extra power pushing the car to new bests of 8.86 secs @ 152.00 mph during recent testing. Converter and trans modifications showed promise at last weekends bracket meet, but less than ideal conditions held performance back from that expected.
