Chrome Moly Price Increase

It looks like there is going to be a substantial price increase in cold drawn (CDS), and cold drawn welded (CDW/DOM) tube products, which includes 4130N chrome moly. Plymouth tube mill in the US has announced a 10% increase and Webco tube mill has followed suit. Both companies increase in pricing will take effect from the beginning of June and will start flowing through to Australia shortly thereafter. We do not source our CDW from the US so the pricing increases will not affect these products, at least in the short term as long as mills world wide don't decide to 'follow suit', although it will impact on all of our DOM products which are US sourced.
