Christmas Closure & New Trading Hours 2016

Dear valued customer and friends. Beginning January 2016, Andrews Race Cars will no longer be open on Mondays. As you are all probably aware, day to day activities here involve a lot of heavy lifting, packing etc. and I am finding as I have gotten older (hard to believe looking at me I know), that I need more recovery time. I do not wish to retire, but feel the need for more leisure time and with having the extra day off I can hopefully continue to offer the service you are all used to.

Andrews Race Cars occupies a unique position in the motor racing parts supply industry in Australia, as it is the only shop that offers basically everything required for the chassis construction of race cars/tough street cars. Components and tube that we stock are also used a vast array of other industries, from wheelchair manufacture, recumbent bikes, scooters, aircraft and even for rifle barrels! We also supply many race car shops with their laser cutting due our great relationship and the quality supplied by the laser cutting company that we use in Sydney. Many shops also avail themselves of our CAD facilities, and we have literally hundreds of custom brackets on file for each of these businesses.

We have been operating since 1989 and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. May 2016 marks 20 years since we moved into the premises that we occupy in Seven Hills, and in that time we have expanded from one factory to now occupying the three factories in the complex.

I hope everyone will understand, and once adjustment is made to the new opening hours I think the business will continue to function as well as it has to date. After all I will still be putting in a 46 hour week – just not the 60 or so hours I do at the moment.
Our opening hours will be 7.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, starting from the 12th January 2016.

We will be closed for the Christmas/New Year break from p.m. sometime on the 23rd December 2015, re-opening on the 12th January 2016.
