Strange 40 spline Pro race axles are the ultimate in flanged axle technology. They are manufactured from 'Hy-Tuf' ultra strength steel alloy which was originally developed for highly stressed landing gear in military aircraft. The bearing journal uses a large radius fillet to increase durability in this area and uses a specially machined ring to correctly position the bearing. These axles are generally not suitable for street use, as they do not cope well with the bending loads associated with cornering, banging kerbs etc. Axles are available bare or complete with bearings, studs and retainers.
