Maurice & Denise Brennan Top Doorslammer

Maurice and Denise Brennan are soon to debut their ARC designed Top Doorslammer. Maurice contracted ARC in 2002 to design the frame and supply all the tube (including all bent tubing), to build an SFI spec TD to suit his VT Commodore body shell. Design requirements for the car included dual funny car cages to allow passengers to enjoy a fun ride! The design required that 38 pieces of tube in the kit required some form of bending. ARC supplied the entire frame in kit form for Maurice and his team to assemble in WA. The results speak for themselves. A professional standard frame, amateur built. ARC were also contracted to supply the full floating chrome moly sheet metal rear end housing.
Nov 2009: Maurice set the AA/AP ET record at 6.273 seconds during last weekends 38th Goldenstate Nationals, held at the Motorplex. That pass was backed up by another 6.273 sec. ET at 226.13 mph, with the very stout short time of 0.997 seconds. ARC congratulate Maurice and his team on an outstanding effort, also reaching the final of Top Comp and securing the runner up trophy.
February 2010: Maurice reset his own AA/AP record at the recent Westernants with a stunning 6.154 se ET @ 230.76 MPH.
March 2010: During qualifying for the recent Funny Car meeeting in Perth, Maurice produced an amazing 234.98 MPH, 4 MPH better than his recently established record and better than some of the Top Doorslammers on hand at the event.
