New Stock of CDW in Store

After 10 months of two-ing and fro-ing we have finally received our first shipment of CDW from the new mill that we have decided to use. The mill have achieved excellent quality, the product being at least equal to the previous material we stocked. Feedback from our largest customers who bend the tube in CNC equipment is extremely positive - they think the material is slightly better and extremely consistent. We did a test bend today in our own manual bender with the very tight 4 1/2" c/l radius 1 1/2" die. It produced the 180 degree bend in the attached photo. All this in a draw bender with no internal mandrel and zero deformation. All material can be supplied with test certs and a local cert will be available next week once local metallurgical verification test results are in. The samples supplied last year exceeded the requirements for CAMS and ANDRA and this first batch was manufactured to the same spec for us.
